Los Angeles Dodgers 2B/SS Gavin Lux - Turning the Corner?

Gavin Lux has turned the corner after a rough start to a season. Despite hitting for a .219 average he has a walk rate of 13% and a K rate of 17% with 394 plate appearances. I think his start to the season was so bad his average was never going to recover. Prices are a bargain due to him being kept off various hot lists. Lux seems to have good plate discipline so the low average does not worry me at all. The Dodgers have a good track record of developing hitters. I rate him as a STRONG BUY.

  1. What do you consider a "bargain price" for this prospect's base auto? Where else besides ebay do you purchase prospects online?

    1. Thanks again for the comment JB. Bargain Bin is any auto less than $10 for me. I consider high end to be anything over $50. Most of my purchases are at local card shows. Ebay is great but I tend to buy more graded stuff on that site. Some forums like Blowout have been recommended to me but I have not tried to make a purchase yet.

  3. What do you think of Tyler Stephenson, Donnie Dewees, and oscar Mercado. I know they are bargain BINs, but are they worth buying the gold/orange refractors? Lmk. Thx as always,
    Adam

    1. I wrote about Stephenson. He was having a bounce back season before getting injured. Mercado and Dewees are having solid seasons as well. I tend to stick with base when it comes to bargain bin but it all depends on your budget if you go for color.
