The Ultimate Guide to 2022 Bowman Draft Baseball: Full Analysis and Rankings

Another year, another draft in the books. The 2022 edition of Bowman Draft is out and once again my review is below. As you can see when it comes to pitchers there is no point to buy right now as they are high risk. Maybe keep an eye on some of the names you like. A big development in recent drafts is the selection of college players over high school players. While these players may be more polished, they are older and it’s really hard to say if there is a ton of upside. I try not to write college guys off. Aaron Judge went to college, and we see how that went. I hope this helps. If you disagree on anything leave a comment. Thanks to all readers.

Alex Freeland - Los Angeles Dodgers SS - I could not find much on Freeland but he had a solid college career and is in a good org. Worth a look.

Dalton Rushing - Los Angeles Dodgers C - Catcher with limited at bats but the small sample size is impressive. I'm just not a catcher investor though.

Nick Biddison - Los Angeles Dodgers OF -  A little older for my taste but solid. At 22 how much upside is there?

Sean McLain - Los Angeles Dodgers SS - Similar profile to Freeland.

Anthony Hall - New York Yankees OF - Has not played a ton of pro ball but his college numbers are nice.

Drew Thorpe - New York Yankees RHP - Wait and see here.

Alex McFarlane - Philadelphia Phillies P - Wait and see for all pitchers.

Gabriel Rincones - Philadelphia Phillies OF - From the UK and has power. Interesting prospect.

Ivan Melendez - Arizona Diamondbacks 1B - Small sample size in A ball but I like what I see here.

Andrew Pintar - Arizona Diamondbacks SS - Looked at his college stats. Not a ton of pop here but has not played pro ball so lets see what happens.

Landon Sims - Arizona Diamondbacks P - Wait and see. Coming back from injury.

Nazier Mule - Chicago Cubs P - Power arm.

Cade Horton - Chicago Cubs P - Pitcher that is a high draft pick. Always high risk.

Christopher Paciolla - Chicago Cubs Utility - A player that has my interest. Seems to have good power and speed. Time will tell but everything I read is good.

Brandon Birdsell - Chicago Cubs P - Wait and see.

Brandon Barriera - Toronto Blue Jays P - Wait and see.

Cade Doughty - Toronto Blue Jays 2B - Solid numbers in A ball. Showed some pop.

Josh Kasevich - Toronto Blue Jays SS - Similar profile to Cade.

Tucker Toman - Toronto Blue Jays 3B - Too small of a sample size to analyze but hes a power bat.

Blake Burkhalter - Atlanta Braves P - Wait and see.

Cole Phillips - Atlanta Braves P - Wait and see.

Ignacio Alvarez - Atlanta Braves 3B - Seems to have a nice bat based off what I read but I dont see much out there. I would understand if you bought. He's 19 in a good system.

David McCabe - Atlanta Braves 3B - At 22 a little on the older side for me but could be a quick flip and fast mover.

Owen Murphy - Atlanta Braves P - Wait and see.

JR Ritchie - Atlanta Braves P - Wait and see.

Drake Baldwin - Atlanta Braves C - Its a pass for me.

Brenner Cox - Washington Nationals OF - 18 years old and is a developmental talent.

Sal Stewart - Cincinnati Reds 3B - Young player that can hit for contact. I am interested.

Logan Tanner - Cincinnati Reds C - Pass.

Brooks Lee - Minnesota Twins SS - Solid player. Not sure if hes a superstar but hes solid. The bat is good.

Tanner Schobel - Minnesota Twins 2B - Not bad numbers but no pop. Need to see more in that area.

Cutter Coffey - Boston Red Sox Utility - Development pick but could be a nice player. Lot of upside.

Mikey Romero - Boston Red Sox SS - Another solid player with upside. Can he tap into his power?

Chase Meidroth - Boston Red Sox 2B - Nice prospect but its a pass for me.

Chase DeLauter - Cleveland Guardians OF - Finally a power hitter in Cleveland. I am interested because they can develop hitters.

Dylan DeLucia - Cleveland Guardians P - Wait and see.

Nate Furman - Cleveland Guardians 2B - Cleveland loves contact guys. Not a ton of pop here.

Hunter Patteson - Kansas City Royals P - Wait and see.

Jud Fabian - Baltimore Orioles OF - Not a bad player but too old for me.

Jackson Holliday - Baltimore Orioles SS - He's so young but his old man was good. The price will be high so take your shots in group breaks. He has talent and could move fast.

Douglas Hodo III - Baltimore Orioles OF - Pass.

Dylan Beavers - Baltimore Orioles OF - Not a bad prospect. I would buy him before Jud.

Silas Ardoin - Baltimore Orioles C - Pass.

Cole Young - Seattle Mariners SS - Pass.

Tyler Locklear - Seattle Mariners OF - Good college bat. Could move fast.

Walter Ford - Seattle Mariners P - Wait and see.

2022 Bowman Chrome Baseball - Full Prospect Analysis

Hello Readers. First I just want to thank everyone who comes to the site to read my opinions. I hope what I am providing helps. I would have to say that now that cards are hot again the checklist for Bowman products has never been bigger. Not a compliant as more prospects is better for everyone. I organized these by team and picked some teams and singles that I do like this year .

I look forward to your questions and feel free to disagree on my assessments. Links to Ebay have also been provided. One last thing to note is that with Bowman Chrome the product is made to feature most of the recent international signings. Due to this, a ton of the players are very young and still have to mature. So its hard to really say if a buy or pass applies. Some of these prospects did play some rookie ball but those stats are tricky as the competition is not strong.

Singles I Like
Anthony Gutierrez - Texas Rangers OF
Yeison Morrobel - Texas Rangers OF
Rayne Doncon - Los Angeles Dodgers 2B/SS
Brady House - Washington Nationals 3B
Ceddanne Rafaela - Boston Red Sox 3B/OF

Teams That I Like for Group Breaks
Dodgers
Rangers
Red Sox
Rockies
Cardinals
Nationals
Padres
Brewers

Alex De Jesus - Los Angeles Dodgers 3B/SS - Now on the Blue Jays and there is some ability here. The SO% needs to come down asap.
Gavin Stone - Los Angeles Dodgers P - Pass.
Rayne Doncon - Los Angeles Dodgers - 2B/SS - I like what I see here. Look at the power numbers.
Samuel Munoz - Los Angeles Dodgers OF - Very young but a player like this in the Dodgers system is not fair.
Jorbit Vivas - Los Angeles Dodgers - 2B/3B - Seems like a on base type of guy but has a little pop.

Anthony Gutierrez - Texas Rangers OF - Only 17 but and its early but I like what I have seen so far.
Yeison Morrobel - Texas Rangers OF - Another young player with great numbers.
Cameron Cauley - Texas Rangers 2B/SS - Not enough pop for me. More of a watch candidate.
Danyer Cueva - Texas Rangers SS - Very young but I need to see more.
Jose Rodriguez - Texas Rangers C - Pass.
JoJo Blackmon - Texas Rangers OF - Man he's so young you have to wait to see if the strikeouts go down.

Parker Chavers - Chicago Cubs OF - Pass. Too old.
BJ Murray Jr. - Chicago Cubs 1B/3B - Decent player but its a pass for me.
Christian Franklin - Chicago Cubs OF - Pass. Did not play last year.
Nelson Velazquez - Chicago Cubs OF - Pass.
Alexis Hernandez - Chicago Cubs SS - 17 years old. Way too young to tell yet.
Liam Spence - Chicago Cubs 1B/SS - Pass.

Alexander Ovalles - Tampa Bay Rays 1B/OF - Pass.
Willy Vasquez - Tampa Bay Rays 3B/SS - Very nice player. Good power numbers. Strikeouts could be better but its a respectable number.
Dru Baker - Tampa Bay Rays OF - Similar to above.
Mason Auer - Tampa Bay Rays OF - Similar to above. Rays seem to be on to something.
Estanli Castillo - Tampa Bay Rays OF - 21 with not a ton of at bats. More of a watch. If he was a little older I would pass.

Jackson Chourio - Milwaukee Brewers OF - The hottest player in the product. Here is the worry for me. Most of the money that will be made on his cards will be when he is in the minors. The Brewers don't have a big national tv reach. I would be careful here.
Antonio Pinero - Milwaukee Brewers SS - Pass.
Jheremy Vargas - Milwaukee Brewers Utility - Pass.

Adrian Sugastey - San Francisco Giants C - Young catcher. Pass.
Ryan Reckley - San Francisco Giants SS - 18 with only 46 at bats. Watch.
Diego Velasquez - San Francisco Giants SS - Pass. No pop.
Alexander Suarez - San Francisco Giants OF - Has some power. But check the K/BB ratio. Needs to walk more before I buy.

Andy Thomas - Seattle Mariners C - Pass.
Victor Labrada - Seattle Mariners OF - Extra base hit numbers are not bad. At 22 years old can he improve?
Luis Chevalier - Seattle Mariners 2B - Note. Now on the Reds but its a pass.
Charlie Welch - Seattle Mariners C - Pass.
Cade Marlowe - Seattle Mariners OF - Pass.

Benjamin Cowles - New York Yankees 2B/SS - Not a bad player but needs to improve.
Roderick Arias - New York Yankees SS - 18 years old so development will take time. Its a watch for sure.
Cooper Bowman - New York Yankees 2B - Now in Oakland but its a pass.

Yanquiel Fernandez - Colorado Rockies OF - Monster numbers. The true test will be AA. So don't go too crazy if you buy.
Juan Guerrero - Colorado Rockies OF - Another good prospect similar to Yanquiel.
Braxton Fulford - Colorado Rockies C - Pass.

Cristhian Vaquero - Washington Nationals OF - So young at 18. Watch him.
Daylen Lile - Washington Nationals DH - Watch had tommy john in April.
Evan Lee - Washington Nationals P - Pass. 25 yrs old.
Brady House - Washington Nationals 3B - 1st round stud that battled injuries but has power potential.

Tyler Collins - Atlanta Braves OF - Watch because hes 19 and I like what the Braves do from a development standpoint.
Brandol Mezquita - Atlanta Braves OF - Hit a ton of doubles in 2022 but to be a power prospect with not a ton of homers tells me his swing has holes. At 21 I would be careful here.
Dylan Dodd - Atlanta Braves P - Pass.
Cal Conley - Atlanta Braves SS -Too old for me at 23.

CJ Rodriguez - Oakland Athletics C - Pass.
Denzel Clarke - Oakland Athletics OF - Nope.
Junior Perez - Oakland Athletics OF - Nope. Rough time for the A's right now.

Jake Rucker - Minnesota Twins 1B - Pass.
Danny De Andrade - Minnesota Twins 3B - Not a ton of at bats but very young. Good buy and stash candidate.
Yasser Mercedes - Minnesota Twins OF - See above.
Noah Miller - Minnesota Twins SS - Potential is here but is a contact hitter.

Cesar Prieto - Baltimore Orioles 2B - Too old.
Maikol Hernandez - Baltimore Orioles SS - Only 19 room to grow here. Can the Orioles develop him and are you willing to bet on them to be successful.
Reed Trimble - Baltimore Orioles OF - Too old for me.
Greg Cullen - Baltimore Orioles 2B - Pass. 28 yrs old.
Isaac De Leon - Baltimore Orioles 3B - Pass. Too much swing and miss.
John Rhodes - Baltimore Orioles OF - Not bad but at 22 he seems to be a 4th outfielder.
Donta Williams - Baltimore Orioles OF - Pass for me. Too middle of the pack. Similar to Rhodes.
Collin Burns - Baltimore Orioles SS - 26 years old. Nope.

Nathan Hickey - Boston Red Sox C - Pass.
Ceddanne Rafaela - Boston Red Sox 3B/OF - Talked about him here.
Eddinson Paulino - Boston Red Sox  Utility - Very, very soild. Impressive.
Daniel McElveny - Boston Red Sox C - Young catcher.

Herard Gonzalez - Kansas City Royals 2B - Pass.
Maikel Garcia - Kansas City Royals SS - Contact hitter. Pass.
Daniel Vazquez - Kansas City Royals 2B - Contact hitter. Pass.

Norge Vera - Chicago White Sox P - Pass.
Tanner McDougal - Chicago White Sox P - Pass.
Wilfred Veras - Chicago White Sox 1B - Big time power numbers. Can he walk more and keep the strikeouts down? That will make or break how far he goes.

Estiven Machado - Toronto Blue Jays SS - Pass. No pop.
Jaden Rudd - Toronto Blue Jays OF - Nice player. Would like to see more power though.
Luis Meza - Toronto Blue Jays C - Young catchers take a long time to develop.

Enmanuel Valdez - Houston Astros - Now on the Red Sox. Its a pass though.
Quincy Hamilton - Houston Astros - Pass. Too old.
Roilan Machandy - Houston Astros OF - Just hit A ball at 21. I think I will have to pass.

Won-Bin Cho - St. Louis Cardinals - 19 years old. I treat the Cardinals like the Dodgers. They always find guys.
Jonathan Mejia - St. Louis Cardinals SS -I laugh because you can repeat what I said for Cho here.

Thomas Farr - Cincinnati Reds P - Pass. Too old.
Yerlin Confidan - Cincinnati Reds OF - 19 will watch.
Ricardo Cabrera - Cincinnati Reds SS - Not bad numbers. Seems like a contact hitter.
Graham Ashcraft - Cincinnati Reds P - Pass.
Leonardo Balcazar - Cincinnati Reds SS - 18 will watch.

Gavin Tonkel - Philadelphia Phillies OF - Not a ton of at bats or info on him. Seems to have a speedster profile. I am kind of curious.
William Bergolla - Philadelphia Phillies 2B/SS - Very young. Will watch.
Logan Cerny - Philadelphia Phillies OF - Now on the Astros. Too old. Its a pass.
Simon Muzziotti - Philadelphia Phillies OF - Pass. Too old.

Rosman Verdugo - San Diego Padres SS - 17 and needs more at bats.
Yendry Rojas - San Diego Padres SS - See above.

Adrian Placencia - Los Angeles Angels 2B/SS - Man this is the type of prospect that you would take a chance on. Young and hits a ton of doubles. The power surge came out of nowhere.

Jaison Chourio - Cleveland Guardians OF - 17 years old with upside.

Austin Schultz - Detroit Tigers OF - Pass.

Jorge Barrosa - Arizona Diamondbacks OF - Very solid numbers. I really like the player. Will be a regular I think.

2022 Bowman Baseball - Pricing Trends Update

2022 Bowman Baseball has been out a few weeks and I have to admit the price trends are interesting. It seems some prices have dropped. You still have some high priced cards out there but overall there are some good prices out on the market. Maybe this is a correction but time will only tell. There is a ton of value out there. Just as a reminder I looked at EBay sales that were auction only and the base chrome auto only.

Aeverson Arteaga - San Francisco Giants SS - Around $70. Fair.

Anthony Rodriguez - San Francisco Giants 3B - Between $9-$20. Great price.

Elly De LA Cruz - Cincinnati Reds SS - Over $200 for most sales. To risky of a prospect to pay those prices.

Matt McLain - Cincinnati Reds SS - Over $200 for most sales. High draft picks always get a bump.

Denzer Guzman - Los Angeles Angels SS - Around $30. A little high for a project but that is the market now.

Roismar Quintana - Washington Nationals OF - Around $20

Jonatan Clase - Seattle Mariners OF - Between $20-$30

Alejandro Pie - Tampa Bay Rays 3B/SS - Under $10. Bargain.

Curtis Mead - Tampa Bay Rays 3B - Between $75-$100. Fair. He has a lot of buzz.

Bryan Acuña - Minnesota Twins OF - Around $100. Short print?

Dustin Harris - Texas Rangers 1B - Between $50-$75. I could see this price going higher if he keeps up the good performance.

Zion Bannister - Texas Rangers OF -  Between $5-$15.

Kahlil Watson - Miami Marlins SS - Around $300. Way too high for me but I get it.

Oswaldo Cabrera - New York Yankees Utility - Around $30.

Trey Sweeney - New York Yankees SS - Around $75. Yankees bump? Maybe. He's a good talent.

Jhonkensy Noel - Cleveland Guardians 1B/3B - Around $40. I honestly thought this would be more.

George Valera - Cleveland Guardians OF - All over the place. Low as $75. High as $125. Would you rather buy two Noel's instead?

Brayan Bello - Boston Red Sox P - Around $50. For a pitcher, that is way too high.

Eduardo Vaughan - Boston Red Sox OF - Between $5-$15.

Lenyn Sosa - Chicago White Sox SS - Around $60. I would wait to see more.

Colson Montgomery - Chicago White Sox SS - Low as $100 and high as $150. First round draft pick bump. Reports have been positive so far.

Luis Gonzalez - Baltimore Orioles OF - Selling for around $10.

Warming Bernabel - Colorado Rockies 3B - Around $65. Fair. I just wish he was not a Rockie.

Gavin Conticello - Arizona Diamondbacks 3B - Around $10.

Joshua Baez - St. Louis Cardinals OF - Around $50. I was expecting a lower price but I am not surprised.

James Triantos - Chicago Cubs 2B - Around $150. Tons of redemptions out there. Highly possible he may be short printed. Cub prospects get a price bump too. Be careful.

Jose Ramos - Los Angeles Dodgers OF - Around $45.

Eddys Leonard - Los Angeles Dodgers SS - Around $45.

James Wood - San Diego Padres OF - Around $150. A ton of buzz here but way too high for me.

Max Muncy - Oakland Athletics SS - Around $100. Some sales were inflated via shill bidding so I did not included those. Not surprised by the price but I need to see improvement with his strikeouts.

Roberto Campos - Detroit Tigers OF - Around $60.

2022 Breakout Prospect Canidate - Evan Carter (Texas Rangers, OF)

The goal of Prospect for Cash is to bring value to the reader. Every year I always note prospects that I like and believe will shoot up the prospects list. I will name a few over the next few days. The first one I want to talk about is Evan Carter. Evan's rookie season was cut short by a back injury but he showed great discipline at the plate prior to the injury. Most in the industry thought it was a reach to take him in the first round of the 2020 draft but it seems the Texas Rangers knew something we didn't. Evan is back in camp and healthy and I think he will do big things this year. Keep in mind his autographs seems to be short printed but are affordable compared to other prospects.

MLB Lockout and Its Impact on Prospects

It's not breaking news that the MLB is in a lockout but with no spring training games on the horizon it's now time to wonder how a delayed start to the season will impact card prices. For me, I worry about the older prospects missing at bats and time being in the majors. Some of the top prospects could make the Major League roster out of camp. The clock is ticking away. At this point it might be a good idea to focus on younger prospects and projects. Let's hope both sides come to an agreement soon.

2021 Bowman Draft Baseball - Full Prospect Analysis

Hello Readers. A new year of prospecting is here and 2021 Bowman Draft has arrived to get us started. My comments on the checklist are below. Unfortunately Topps released the product without the checklist so that caused a delay in the review. One thing I noticed is that MLB teams are really taking a lot of college players in the earlier rounds. If you think these players will develop quickly I could see why you would purchase. In regards to the pitchers in this product I just cant recommend you purchase guys if they have not played or if they are priced high. Too much risk. Some arms I will wait to see what they can do as I like the talent. For others I passed especially if they seem to be relivers or 4/5 starters. If I missed any games please let me know and thanks again for reading.

Aaron Zavala - Texas Rangers OF - Not a bad debut. Only 75 PA's but has some talent for a college bat.

Mitch Bratt - Texas Rangers P - Only pitched 6 innings. I need to see more.

Brendan Beck - New York Yankees P -  College arm that still has yet to debut. It's a wait and see for me.

Andrew Abbott - Cincinnati Reds P - Not a bad talent. Limited innings pitched but I like him. I wouldn't break the bank though.

Jay Allen - Cincinnati Reds OF - Very solid even though the sample is limited. Very athletic high risk high reward type guy. Worth a shot.

Jose Torres - Cincinnati Reds  SS - Another solid college bat with a great debut.

Matheu Nelson - Cincinnati Reds C - Catching prospect that is decent. A little older but has a good eye. Catchers just take so much time to develop though.

Ruben Ibarra - Cincinnati Reds 1B - Decent first basemen. Its a pass for me though.

Russell Smith - Milwaukee Brewers P - Pitcher from TCU that did have Tommy John in 2019. I would pass because he may not be a starter.

Alex Binelas - Milwaukee Brewers OF - NOTE - He's now on the Red Sox and I love the talent. Keeping him here because of the team break angle.

Sal Frelick - Milwaukee Brewers OF - I really like this guy. Plays hard and has some power and speed. Exciting athlete.

Tyler Black - Milwaukee Brewers 2B - Most likely will be a multiple position player. Take a small position if you like him.

Joe Mack - Miami Marlins C - Catching prospect that I will pass on.

Jordan McCants - Miami Marlins SS - Speed player who is an athlete. I like the upside.

Tanner Allen - Miami Marlins OF - Too old for my taste.

Cooper Kinney - Tampa Bay Rays 2B - I like the player wont be a superstar but has some good tools. Small position if you are interested.

Carson Williams - Tampa Bay Rays SS - Not a bad player. I would focus on the power. Would make sense to buy now if you think he can tap into it.

Kyle Manzardo - Tampa Bay Rays 1B - Has some tools but its a pass for me.

Ryan Spikes - Tampa Bay Rays SS - Another athlete with some pop. I like him.

Ky Bush - Los Angeles Angels P - Pass.

Eric Cerantola - Kansas City Royals P - Pass.

Frank Mozzicato - Kansas City Royals P - Has not played yet. Wait and see.

Shane Panzini - Kansas City Royals P - Has not played yet. Wait and see.

Benny Montgomery - Colorado Rockies OF - High upside. Potential stud.

Hunter Goodman - Colorado Rockies C - Older catcher. Its a pass.

Jaden Hill - Colorado Rockies P - Dropped because of injury history. Its a wait and see for me.

Joe Rock - Colorado Rockies - Pass. Great name.

McCade Brown - Colorado Rockies P - Pass.

Spencer Schwellenbach - Atlanta Braves P - Pass. Has not played but that was not a factor in my statement.

Ryan Cusick - Atlanta Braves P - Pass.

Colton Cowser - Baltimore Orioles OF - Solid debut from a college prospect. I would not mind a small position.

Connor Norby - Baltimore Orioles OF - Norby is kind of similar to Cowser. Same comments apply.

Matt Mikulski - San Francisco Giants P - Pass.

Why I Invested In Nolan Gorman (St. Louis Cardinals, 2B/3B)

Over the past few years I have been watching Nolan Gorman closely. The main reason I stayed away is because I was waiting for an adjustment in his swing that would cut down on the strikeouts. This season that has occurred. You may think my change is a reaction to the AAA numbers but its not. AAA's talent level this year is not where it was pre realignment and covid issues have cut into the talent pool. Nolan's AA numbers is where the real data is. Even though his Batting Average on Balls In Play (BABIP) was high, I was more impressed that he cut down the strikeouts to around 25%. In addition, his prices did not spike as much as I thought they would until the last few weeks.

Nolan Gorman will participate in the 2021 Arizona Fall League and when the 2022 season starts he will be 22 years old. If he keeps it up we should see him in the majors next year. I trust the St. Louis Cardinals and how they develop their prospects. My investment is a bet that his success will continue and I could not pass up the prices I saw compared to other top prospects.

2021 Bowman Chrome Baseball - Full Prospect Analysis

Hello Readers. 2021 Bowman Chrome is now out and overall they have produced a solid checklist. Although there are a ton of names I think there is some value here. I organized the names by teams for break purposes. I just cannot recommend any pitchers this year. The upside is just not there in my opinion. A lot of these players are young so you might want to wait for more plate appearances before purchasing. Most of the hitters I passed on were too old for my liking or had no power potential.

Rays, Padres, Cubs, Brewers are my favorite teams for breaks.

Carlos Colmenarez - SS (Rays) - A top international signing w power and speed. Stud.

Tanner Murray - SS/3B (Rays) - Pass.

Pedro Martinez - SS/2B/3B (Rays) - Pass.

MLB Prospect Statistical Analysis (Stats Don't Lie) Pitching Report

In my previous stats report, I discussed some of the standout hitters that got my attention. For this report lets show some pitchers a little love. Expect more stat breakdowns moving forward as the season heats up. The report was ran July 1.

I wanted to show the pitchers that have a high K/9 rate with a low walk rate. There are some other good arms playing right now but their walk rates are high. Max Meyer is included because of his high ground ball rate.

MLB Prospect Statistical Analysis (Stats Don't Lie) Hitting Report

We are officially a month and a half into the season and I ran some reports today to see who is performing well so far. I have to say there are some eye popping stats out there. I have listed some of the names below that have caught my attention. Report was ran on Fangraphs.

Milwaukee Brewers - Joe Gray Jr. - Joe has 10 homers and 16 extra base hits. Impressive.

Kansas City Royals - Nick Pratto - Impressive walk rate and a swing changed has improved his power. 11 homers so far.

Los Angeles Dodgers - Andy Pages - Good power numbers. Looking forward to more improvement. 10 homers and 10 XBH.

San Diego Padres - Robert Hassell III - Only 19 and he is striking out 20% of the time. Very good for a high school draft prospect.

St. Louis Cardinals - Nolan Gorman - Big improvement here. Power numbers are good but the swing and miss is down. K rate is 25%.

Arizona Diamondbacks - A.J. Vukovich - 19 year old prospect that has good power potential. 0.193 ISO.

Detroit Tigers - Gage Workman  - Strikeout rate is high but the walk rate is good (15%). Not a ton of home runs but has 13 XBH.

2021 Bowman Baseball - Full Prospect Analysis

Prospects for Cash is back and 2021 Bowman Baseball is launching this week. The checklist has 72 players. The big issue that has people buzzing is the amount of prospects that signed second autos. This is not new but double digit second autos is most likely here to stay with the demand so high. Overall this checklist is solid with a mix of international prospects that are projects and middle ranked prospects. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
