Player of the Week - Bradley Zimmer

If I have to beat you over the head with it, I will.  Bradley Zimmer.  Player of the Week via Milb.com

"Eastern League
Bradley Zimmer, Akron (CLE)
(.400/.500/.850, 6 G, 8-for-20, 3 HR, 7 RBI, 7 R, 5 BB, 6 K, 1 CS)
It might seem like a stretch to call a first-round pick a breakout star, but Zimmer, who was taken 21st overall last year, is certainly becoming that as he's jumped from being unranked in MLB.com's top-100 ranking of prospects to his current spot at No. 31. The Indians' top prospect has officially transitioned into life at Double-A ball by collecting multiple hits in three of his six games last week, a stretch that pushed his Eastern League slash line up to .271/.378/.514. By going deep three times -- two of which came Tuesday -- he pushed his 2015 home run total to 16 between Akron and Class A Advanced Lynchburg. Combine that power with his 39 steals and his plus defense in center field, and it's easy to see why the Tribe should be excited about what they have in the 22-year-old. "
